Since 2013, Emiel has been a teacher and managing director at Brandpreventie Academy. His work includes business operations, marketing, conference organisation, teaching and course development.
Since 2024, he has been a shareholder in TBQ — Tools for Building Quality. From 2020 through 2025, he was publisher and managing director of Brandveilig.com, responsible for operations, editorial direction and content quality.
